Athlete of the Month
Congratulations to Sean Holloway and Bryan Muhr for being our October Athletes of the Month at Sterling’s Team Speed! Sean and Bryan are both 11-year-olds who have been training with Adrian consistently several times a week for over 3 months.
Sean’s a 6th grader at the Renaissance Expeditionary Magnet School in Castle Rock. His activities include sports, reading, photography, training with Bryan and he’s also a black belt. Sean plays ice hockey for the Littleton Hawks, lacrosse for Valor and swims for Castle Rock; he enjoys competing in triathlons when he can. Sean enjoys working with Adrian because he pushes him to limits he didn’t know he ever had before and he can feel the difference. Sean’s favorite thing about Team Speed is seeing and feeling himself getting stronger and faster. Oh, and Bentley’s cool too! Brian’s a 6th grader at Cherry Hills Christian School. His activities include camping, swimming/boating, training with Sean and football. Bryan plays ice hockey for the Littleton Hawks and lacrosse for Valor. Since working with Adrian, Bryan is “definitely stronger, and can do a lot more things then [he] could do before Team Speed.” Adrian pushes him beyond the limits he has set for himself and thanks to Adrian and his new strength, he’s winning bets at school. The bet Bryan won at school was for how many pushups he could do with his backpack on, so Bryan thanks Team Speed and Adrian for his prize, a delicious pack of gum.
