Connor Cholez
Sports Performance Coach
Education: ACE Certified Personal Trainer; Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (anticipated graduation Fall 2026).
Experience: Originally from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Connor grew up playing baseball and competing at a high level. He played high school baseball at Mountain Vista High School before continuing his career at the collegiate level, competing at the junior college level with the College of San Mateo and later at the NCAA Division II level at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. His experiences as an athlete shaped his passion for training, competition, and long-term athletic development.
Focus: Connor specializes in strength training, speed development, and overall youth athlete development. His coaching style is exciting, client-based, and progressive, with a strong belief that confidence and mental toughness are built by embracing challenges. He encourages athletes to push past perceived limits, knowing that growth happens when you do hard things.
Connection to Team Speed: Connor began coaching at Team Speed with a desire to return to the environment where he once trained as an athlete. Having experienced firsthand the impact Team Speed had on his athletic and personal growth, he’s motivated to give that same mentorship and support to his athletes. He values the team’s culture of caring for every athlete — not just their performance on the field, but who they become off of it as well.
